I think that everything said made a bunch of sense. But, what about this? suppose you composed a catchier title? I am not suggesting your content isn't good, however what if you added a post title to maybe get a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda plain. You could peek at Yahoo's front page and watch how they create post headlines to grab viewers interested. You might try adding a video or a picture or two to get readers interested about everything've written. Just my opinion, it would make your website a little bit more interesting.
